Day 210: 5 June 2026
Poem -- All the things you can already do
You grow so fast, my Little One
And now there are so many things
that you can do:
You can crawl like a little speedster.
You can pick up your toys.
You can feed yourself, mostly just with your hands.
You can stick out your arms while getting dressed.
You can stand up all by yourself.
You can dance.
You can walk along the sofa or coffee table.
You can sit like a boss.
You can demolish any tower I build.
You can understand your name
and a few other words.
You can say Daddy and Mummy.
You can turn the pages of your books
(Although we’re still working on not ripping them sometimes).
You can entertain yourself for a time.
You can clap.
You can wave.
You can recognise your favourite nursery rhymes.
You can do so many things!
And soon you’ll be able to do even more!
